syncing with mazda cx5

I bought a Mazda CX-5 in 10/19. I have been listening to my iPod touch through the car audio system up until yesterday. Starting yesterday when I choose my iPod touch as my audio source it just starts loading and loading. I let it go for 25 minutes yesterday and the loading screen kept going. I tried using an older iPod touch and it worked fine so I don’t think the issue is in the car. I changed cables and reset the iPod settings and it didn’t help. I connected the iPod to my computer and it worked fine with iTunes. Any thoughts?
