syncing with mazda cx5

I bought a Mazda CX-5 in 10/19. I have been listening to my iPod touch through the car audio system up until yesterday. Starting yesterday when I choose my iPod touch as my audio source it just starts loading and loading. I let it go for 25 minutes yesterday and the loading screen kept going. I tried using an older iPod touch and it worked fine so I don’t think the issue is in the car. I changed cables and reset the iPod settings and it didn’t help. I connected the iPod to my computer and it worked fine with iTunes. Any thoughts?

Is your iPod a newer one that would have updated to 13.5.1? If so then an apple software update may have messed with the software in your car. You’ll need to see if your car pushes out a firmware update to restore compatibility.
