can I update my late 2009 iMac to High Sierra

Hello, I need to update my iMac late 2009 to macOS High Sierra 10.13 in order for me to get the Lightroom Update I nedd to do post production on photos. I have 12GB of internal memory. Can I update or not? In the AppStore it will not find that Update as available.

Thank you.

Hi!

i do have another question. When I open Photoshop now I get this error message:

”Photoshop gas encountered a problem with the display driver and has disabled enhancements which use the graphic hardware.....”

I haven’t updated to high Sierra yet.

Do you think it’s a question of updating software (Photoshop or OS) or do you think there might be an actual problem with the graphic driver?

Thank you 🙏🏼

I’m sorry....I don’t understand.

I have late 2009 iMac. I don’t have a newer Mac. I’m getting an error message when I open Photoshop CC and I don’t know if it’s because OS needs to be updated or because there might really be a problem with the graphic driver.

when I open Photoshop CS6, an older version I have, I don’t get that error message.

What do you think?

Thank you

Oh, I completely misunderstood. :(
