MacBook Battery not detected My mid-2014 15" Retina MacBook Pro running Big Sur 11.7.2 [up to date] has stopped detecting its battery. It boots and runs seemingly normally, but perhaps(?) a little slowly/glitchy when connected to AC power. The battery was replaced by a (now out of business) 3rd party vendor last Spring. With my limited hardware skill set, I'm not unsure if I want to replace the battery, given the risk and cost of having diagnose and replace more components on such an old machine. I'd appreciate any suggestions or opinions you might offer.

MacBook pro 13" A1502 Early 2015 Retina Battery issues Hi everyone. My MacBook's battery swell 3 years ago and i had it removed; but as i couldn't find the original battery, i had to keep going on without battery and as you know it runs really slow... I've showed it to apple store and other computer services. the problem is that they say even with the battery it works the same!!! still too slow!! they say it's a Motherboard problem because it gets too hot. but they can't find out the problem. Could anyone help please? i thought with a new battery it fixes but seems not to be true....

Because Apple stores usually no longer stock these after 5-7 years past date of manufacture

you'd have to consider, try independent Apple sales/service provider, or online reputable sales

such as this source (battery link) and reliable replacement update/upgrade for most Macs.
