Error 9039 when syncing music library

I receive the following error message when I attempt to sync my music library, "Genius results can’t be updated right now. An unknown error occurred (9039)."

I purchased a brand new 16" MacBook Pro 29 days prior to creating this post and have been on the phone with Apple every day since. No improvement. Waiting on a fifth escalation to Engineers.

I was told to erase my iCloud Music Library to try to fix the issue, but since I can't upload to my library, I now can't access my music on any of my iOS devices.

My deadline to return this MacBook for a refund is tomorrow, and I haven't even been able to transfer my music from my old PC properly, let alone any of my other files. If anyone has experience fixing this issue, I'd be grateful for your help. Thank you.

Quick update: I complained to a Senior Advisor that the music and file transfer from my old computer was not as "quick and easy" as the sales rep promised, and he said "Their statement was subjective. I see nothing wrong with that characterization of your situation."

I'm trying to reinvigorate this post, and hoping another user out there can help with the issue, as Apple's staff seems to be considering ditching me before I find a way to ditch their computer and get my money back. At least the store I purchased it from had the kindness to offer me a one week extension on my return.

My thanks to anyone out there that might have some advice. I've tried everything.

Thank you.

This morning, I set up a new library file, linked it to my Apple ID, and imported one song file. The sync to iCloud Music Library worked just fine - no error messages.

If there's a way to clear out all my iTunes Match data from Apple's servers and start again, that might help, but although that's been done for me in the past, I'm told it's no longer an option. If there's a way to transfer all my relevant data (playlists, album art, etc.) to a new library file, it looks as if that might be an option too, but a Senior Advisor this morning wasn't positive there was a way to do that.

If anyone has any insight, I would be extremely grateful. Thank you.
