Safari developer tools not working anymore

Since I updated to MacOS 10.15.14 and later to MacOS 10.15.15, Safari developer tools stopped working.

The first time I open developer tools by right clicking -> inspect element, or cmd+alt+I, or even from the menu, nothing happens and developer tools doesn't appear. If I do it for a second time, then they appear, but they stay blank as it can be seen in the attached screenshot.

It is impossible to use developer tools. I have also tried to use developer tools with a remote iPhone, but the result is the same.

Is there any solution our there?

Many thanks in advance

PS: Tried to uninstall adBlocker, but same problem happens

Hi marcruiz,

Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems like Inspect Element does not work in Safari. There are a couple things you can try that may be able to help. I would recommend you read these articles and use them to help troubleshoot the issue. Disable plug-ins and extensions and see if the issue persists.

Change Extensions preferences on Mac

If you need to disable or block a Safari plug-in on Mac

Please don't hesitate to let us know if the steps resolved your issue or if you need additional assistance.

Cheers.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.  Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown. If the log won’t post, try posting it in Pastebin and provide a link in a reply. After pasting the report in a PasteBin page, go to the top of the page, and copy the address in the URL bar. Paste that in a new reply.        Pastebin.
