Virus & battery infection???

I was on Pinterest, and clicked on a link, after I opened that link it reloaded to one of apples part of the website and said I needed to download a vpn & save my battery and only had 2 minutes to do, I done this just incase this was true because my phones been playing up , I then tried to click on it again and was left with ‘404 not found’ then I done it again and it was the link I originally clicked... please help me find out what’s going on as I only got my phone for Christmas :(

All such messages are scams. Close the offending page and avoid sites that are involved in such bogus advertising tactics. Never, never, never download anything based on a popup message.
