Unknown person logging into my Apple ID

I received a notification today stating that someone logged into my Apple ID. I do not know this person, therefore, I changed my Apple ID password. Does this make them automatically logged out? Or are they still logged into my Apple ID?

If the notice wasn't a scam, since you changed your password, they should be logged out.

Check your device list to see if there is a device signed in that you don't recognize. You can remove the device using the steps in the article below. As a precaution, change your password.
