Adding Apple ID Funds and Family Sharing

I want to add funds to my Apple ID, but my household uses Family Sharing and we've enabled purchase sharing. Will I be able to use my own payment method to add funds or will the funds be taken from the account we have for family sharing?

You can't add your own payment method. Only the family organizer's credit card can be charged. Buy/redeem iTunes Gift cards to the account. Charges will be deducted from the account balance before the organizer's credit card is charged.
