Screen Recording - File size too large! Help..

I screen recorded a 2.5 hour zoom meeting via Quicktime. The file size is 15gb! What can I do to make it more manageable and shareable .. say around 2 or 3 gb?

How to record screen with Quick Time in less than 4k resolution? Hello, Whenever I record what goes on my Mac's screen, Quick Time exports a 4k resolution recording. The resulting file is rather large. Is there any way for me to record my screen with Quick Time in less than 4k resolution? I know I can export the recorded and saved 4k video into a lower resolution video with Quick Time's export function, after which I can delete the 4k footage, but is there a way for me to directly record footage in, say, full HD? Space is an issue for more complex projects. Thank you!

Trying exporting from Quicktime as a smaller file

Just remember the smaller the file, the lower quality the image.

YES! Can't believe I didnt think of that ... I was able to re-save it at 3gb. Thank you.
