Hi I need to find out if I replace my iPhone 8 battery through a third party source since in my country we don’t have an Apple store, would my trade-in be affected while purchasing a new phone? As I always trade in my old iPhone for the newest on when I go on holiday abroad and if there is an Apple store in that country.

That is something you're going to need to ask Apple directly. No one in this user-to-user forum is able to speak for then. I suggest starting with the Contact Support link at the top right of every page.
Note that if you purchase an iPhone in a different country, you will only be able to get warranty service in the country in which you purchased it.
My guess is Apple would not accept it, since you voided the warranty and installed non Apple parts.
Best I can suggest is try it and see.
