Does a laptop cooler make a difference?

Hi, I just got a Late 2019 MacBook Pro 16'' souped up and it's *hot* whenever I'm working in Logic or Final Cut!

I'm wondering whether a laptop cooler will cool the laptop down, and I'm wondering what you all recommend in terms of model and brand.

I read this: "The laptop cooler must have a proper size and shape to match your laptop’s. Keep in mind to avoid buying the wrong type of laptop cooler for your machine, as you may end up hurting your laptop instead of helping it, i.e. choosing a cooler that pushes air towards the bottom of your laptop, while your machine exhausts hot-air from the bottom, makes for a no-no procedure."

I do not know where the warm air leaves the 2019 MacBook Pro 16'', but I do feel the edge near the screen get hot.

I wish Apple sold this kind of thing!
