This is the battery problem I've read about. I've reset the SMC.
Bootcamp with Windows 10 can run the mac until the battery is low but the MacOS will just die and recommend a £180 battery replacement.
Not trying to cry conspiracy here but it is fishy. Any thoughts? Anyone else able to run Windows on bootcamp just fine while MacOS goes black?

Have you tried booting into recovery and reinstalling macOS? If Windows runs fine then it would lead me to believe that the issue lies within the macOS Software rather than the device hardware.
