SSD on 2012 MacBook Pro Do I need TRIM?
I just bought a Samsung 860 Pro 4TB SSD for my 2012 2.6Ghz MacBook Pro. Would it be beneficial for it's performance if I turned on TRIM? Thanks in Advance!!!

If you don't enable TRIM, then I would suggest unchecking "Put hard drive to sleep when possible" in the Energy System System Preferences. This will allow the SSD's internal Garbage Collection routines time to run whenever the SSD is idle. It may also help if the SSD has trouble after the laptop wakes from sleep.

Thank you I think that is what I need to know
