the update always stops when downloading an restarts due to a small break in my internet connection. How do i fix this?

Find a reliable internet connection to download the software or use iTunes on a computer. Those are your only choices.

Update install issue I keep getting a notice for a software update but when I click to install the update it runs until about half way through and stops indicating that the install has stopped and suggests it is possibly due to an internet problem, which is working as it should. How can I proceed with the install or stop the reminder pop-up?

“Unable to check for update - checking for a software update failed because you are not connected to the internet”. I am connected to the internet and have tried every troubleshooting solution found on apple support and other sites. No success
