Sidecar not working wirelessly beween 2018 MB Pro and 2017 iPad Pro

So, I can get Sidecar working using a cabled connection between my 2018 MB Pro and 2017 iPad Pro but cannot get it working wirelessly so it can be charged whilst using it.

I tried all the trouble shooting - reset network connections, sign out Apple ID, make sure Handoff enabled etc etc.

Still nothing.

I'm thinking Handoff has something to do with it because I can Handoff between my MB Pro and iPhone 11 but I cannot Handoff between my iPad Pro and iPhone or MB.

Any ideas?

I like the stability of having a wired connection but want the ability to charge my iPad at the same time as using Sidecar.

Use your iPad as a second display for your Mac with Sidecar ...
