Bluetooth keyboard

Ipad I can't connect a bluetooth keyboard, but other ipad can connect

If the other iPad the keyboard it connected to is nearby and powered on that could be the issue. And with some older Bluetooth keyboards, they may not be able to be paired with more than one device at all.
