Well, actually it is a design decision by Apple on how many calls to show in Recent Calls. Apple chose 100. That is what they define as “recent”. It is not called the “All Calls” list; it is the “Recent Calls” list, and 100 may be arbitrary, but any number they chose would be arbitrary so the actual number doesn’t really matter.
It shouldn’t be a problem, however, because you can get a complete list of 18 months worth of calls from your carrier’s website, and with most carriers, from their app that you can install on the phone. And the carrier’s list has a lot more detail than the phone Recent Calls list.
