Hi I just did these steps and now I see a folder with a question mark in it popping up and down
Cleaning my Mac book air and now I just see a folder with a question make flashing

Is that folder on your task bar (Dock) bouncing with a question mark? What has happened is that the app attached to that bouncing icon has been deleted and that shortcut (icon) can therefore not locate the associated app. You can right click on that icon and remove it from dock.
