My daughter uses my old iPhone 5c for music and games. She changed the passcode and now she can’t remember what it is. She tried too many times, and now the only message we get is that the phone is disabled and to connected to iTunes. I tried connecting ITunes following the instructions to restore. It will download software but than it’s like the phone times out and starts to power on and never completes. Any ideas?

Right, I’ve left it plugged into the whole time. I don’t take it off until it tells me it’s unable to complete. It’s like the download times out, and the phone starts to power on, then I get a pop up asking me to allow the computer on my phone BUT i can’t get on the phone to ‘allow’ anything
