I just upgraded to a new camera, a Canon 6D Mark II. When uploading my images it says Preview currently does not support this raw file format. I've checked the App Store and there are currently no updates available. What to do next?
Canon 6D Mark II - Great budget Full Frame camera. Just wanted to acknowledge that.
This camera can produce some very large RAW format files and that format is compatible with the Photo app on your MacBook Air. The preview app is not going to be able to open and display RAW format files.

May I also recommend using Adobe Lightroom? Thanks.

Thanks! I was able to preview RAW files previously, with my old camera no problem. I actually do use Lightroom too! but they wont work in either now. Ive seen some people suggest on other posts, that if you don't have a certain version on Mac or Lightroom that it doesn't support the raw files. Not really sure! thanks again for your suggestions!
