Email & Reminders

Can anyone please tell me how to tag an email message with a reminder or alert to follow up on a specific future date? I know youre supposed to 'right click' the email and 'share' should come up as an option - but this doesnt happen in my set up...have I missed something? HELP.

i am on Catalina v10.15.5 and mail Version 13.4
