Google Chrome won't close on Macbook Pro (early 2011)
I can't open or close or force quit Google Chrome on my Macbook Pro. It's open on my dock but will not open on my screen. I'm running OS X Yosemite.

Chrome did not show in the Activity Monitor but I was able to solve this issue by force quitting Safari and then shutting down my laptop (control + option + shift + power, held for a few sec), then restarting my laptop.

Can you open the app Activity Monitor? Then locate Chrome in the list of open items and then Force Quit it there.
