Smart keyboard for iPad not working

Hey I know many people experienced similar problems, but my iPad Pro 9.7 inch (2016) suddenly stopped to recognise my Smart Keyboard (for 9.7 inch iPad) at all. It behaves as if the keyboard doesn’t exist. I updated my iOS (13.5.1), rebooted iPad and all but still nothing.... Any suggestions?
