I, too, am experiencing this same issue with 9.2.1; it's been an issue since 9.2. The only workaround that I'd found is to update each app individually, which but that pretty much negates the "update all" functionality. Perhaps Apple will try again with the next update, …
Same here! I've been patiently hoping it would go away..but it's getting annoying enough now that i'm compelled to write this. It happens EVERY SINGLE TIME I click on Apps (under Library) then "Check for Updates". Then try to download all updates... the first time I get *The information on this page is outdated*.
But, repeat all steps above immediately and it will work and the apps download.
And guess what? It's no better in the shiny new iTunes 10. My very first use of 10 was identical to every irritating, repetitive round of these errors I've gotten in the last several iTunes releases.
I understood, from another forum somewhere, this was due to having apps in your collection that are no longer for sale on the app store. Delete those apps, and message goes away.
However, my experience is that the problem was resolved with iTunes 10.
Same problem here. Present since 9.something for me, can't recall exactly which version. Present in 10.0 also. I tried doing clean reinstall of iTunes with version 9 and that didn't work. Also tried deleting iTunes prefs file, also didn't work. I agree... how are we supposed to know what apps are no longer available? There must be a better solution...
I've been having the same problem for several months as well. I hoped that iTunes 10 would fix the problem, but it didn't. With Apple's usual attention to detail it is surprising that they would let an annoyance like this persist after a major iTunes update.
Same issue here - comes and goes. I tried various things as suggested here:
- deleting apps which have been removed from the app store
- cleaning up cookies from Safari
Both to no success. I was hoping to get rid of this with iTunes 10 - not so much! Who can help?
