Hello ...i need to know .. mine is Macbook Air early 2014 , 13inch , .. battery Cycle Count is - 843 . So what do u suggest about replacing the battery or anything can be done on this... ??

What is the ideal Cycle Count which tell the health of Battery of Macbook Air early 2014, 13inch Battery Life . . . ?

What does it say about the battery health here:


Click on the Apple > about this mac > system report > scroll down to Power/Battery > post the results here.


FWIW, 1,000 cycles is the max, but batteries have been known to fail much earlier than that.


If you notice any swelling, take it in for replacement immediately (stop using it).

babowa has asked the two essential questions: is the case swelling? What is the battery health? If the base is swelling stop using the computer and get to an Apple store or authorized repair center immediately. This is dangerous. If the battery health condition is not normal you should get the battery replaced.


There's one last question: have you begun to notice a big difference in how long you can use it on battery? For example, with my previous MBAir I could go all day on battery but after about 3 years I realized I was getting a low battery warning in the early afternoon. Not long after that I replaced the battery and went back to being able to work all day.
