Changing regions and payments

Hello all, my name is Amelia I am from the UK but live and work in China. I wanted to by something on the App Store recently but my U.K. account is low on money as I don’t live there so I changed my region to China and used my chinese bank card. No problem


However due to my language ability and restrictions I want to change back to the U.K. App Store. U.K. doesn’t allow union pay as a payment option so I am worried if I change back it might delete my purchase made with my chinese card.


Does anyone know if I can change my region back and still keep my purchase?


please note: the purchase is a yearly subscription

I see that you have a question about changing the country for your Apple ID account. I'd be happy to provide you with some information to help answer your questions.


When you change your country for your Apple ID account, all of your information needs to match for that country. For example, address, billing address and payment information. So if you're still in China, all of the information would need to match for the App Store for China.


Change your Apple ID country or region


Keep in mind that when you when you switch between countries, all of the content that you had in a previous country may not be available when switching to another country. Content varies by country/region.
