iPhone keeps asking if I want to share the Wi-Fi password with my MacBook Pro

This is incredibly annoying, and I have not been able to figure out a fix for this. I have seen other people talking about the same issue on other websites but no one seems to know how to really get rid of this, and I have a feeling this is something a lot of people are experiencing but that is for some reason not being considered an actual bug.

It started yesterday. Whenever I unlock my iPhone XR, the prompt "Do you want to share the Wi-Fi password for [my household wifi] with [my MacBook Pro]?" It does not matter whether I dismiss the prompt or press "share password", it pops up again when I unlock my phone. Pressing "share" succeeds (it says "password shared successfully") but the prompt comes up again the second I lock and unlock my phone.

The thing is, My MacBook Pro is connected to the same wifi and it HAS the password to it, so I don't understand why it keeps asking my phone for the password! I have no connection problems on my MacBook either, the wifi works completely normally and is connected all the time, but my iPhone STILL brings up this password sharing prompt every single time.

I really think this is an issue Apple needs to look into and fix! I just updated my iPhone and I know my wifi works fine so this is not down to connectivity issues or an outdated ios version. I really just want to get rid of the prompt because it's extremely inconvenient to have to dismiss it every single time I unlock my phone.

The prompt even comes up every time my iPhone is unlocked with Face ID alone & I haven't yet even swiped my phone open, it's simply showing me the lock screen with the lock icon now unlocked.
