PRinter not printing

Do I need to reinstall, I don't even know if I have the old software? It was finer before.

Go into System Preferences > Printers & Scanners. If your printer is already in the list on the lefthand side, check to see if it's Online or Offline. If it's offline, you can try resetting it. (I'm assuming the power to it turned on) -Right click on the printer for context menu and there is an option to Reset Printing System...


If there is no printer listed in the left windowpane, you may need to reinstall it. You can click on the + sign below, and another window will pop up that lets you search for available printers. Depending on the brand and type you have, you may be prompted to install software from the manufacturer. But oftentimes you can just use the native printer drivers that are built into macOS. After it's done installing, you can right click on it to Set As Default Printer.
