KEYBOARD..SHOWING GLOBE ICON INSTEAD OF SMILEY FACE
I had downloaded a font app and did not like it so I deleted it. Now instead of the smiley face icon the globe icon is on the keyboard. How do I get the smiley app back?

The “globe” key on your keyboard allows you to quickly select between multiple selected keyboards - and only appears if you have more than one keyboard enabled in Settings. If you have multiple language-specific keyboards enabled, or a third-party Keyboard is enabled in addition to Emoji, the “smiley” key becomes a “globe”.
The “smiley” key only appears if you have Emoji enabled in addition to one country-specific keyboard.
When you have multiple keyboards configured, the “smiley” becomes a “globe” - but the functionality otherwise doesn’t change.
To switch between enabled keyboards, touch-and-hold the “globe” until a selection menu appears, then tap the keyboard that you wish to use from the list of enabled keyboards; the Emoji keyboard, if enabled in Settings, can be easily accessed from this menu.
You can control the enabled keyboards, including the Emoji keyboard, from Settings:
Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards
Check that only your preferred language-specific keyboard, e.g., English (US) or English (UK), and Emoji are enabled. To delete a keyboard, swipe to the left, then tap delete. To add a keyboard, tap Add New Keyboard and select from the list.

Go to settings > general > keyboard > keyboards and make sure nothing connected to your font app is on the list. Also see whether emoji is on the list, and if not, use Add New Keyboards to add it.
I figured it out. I had downloaded a Font app and decided I did not like it so I deleted it. I was left with the globe icon. To fix this I deleted the emoji keyboard and then added it back. No more globe and back to a smiley face.
So your problem is now fully resolved?
