Can I purchase Minecraft through Arcade?

I am trying to purchase Minecraft for my Macbook Air but have been unable to do so. Can you help ?

I understand that you’d like to buy Minecraft for your Mac, and I'm happy to help. That title is currently not available in Arcade, but it can be purchased directly through the software developer at their website.

Where can I buy Minecraft Java Edition?

I've learned that I actually want to obtain the Bedrock edition for my MacBook Air. Can anyone tell me how to do that? I've tried to go through Mojang with no success.
