Why does my messages and FaceTime doesn’t work for activation I don’t have a number so I use my Apple ID and it doesn’t work?

Start by trying this link: If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


If that doesn't help, then at this point you will need to ask Apple's Apple ID Account Security team for further assistance with this matter. To contact them, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.
