Elgato Eve Aqua
So, from NZ, I buy an Eve Aqua, Dec 2018 which is shipped from AUS (I presume), it works great and keeps my gardens alive through a dry summer (the neighbours heap praise on my supposed advanced gardening skills).
Then Eve stops working after 17 months (5 months after the warranty)...
Q: How long should a product like this last? Who do I talk to about it?
Apple don't seem to want to know (post warranty), suggest I speak with Elgato. I've already been speaking to Elgato in MUNICH... very nice people... who say ("we presume a hardware fault") talk to the retailer for warranty/exchange; Apple. Fair enough.
Goodness knows how many Apple products I own / have bought for my family - maybe 30+, incl. something like 6 macbooks, 10 iPhones, watches, Apple TVs... yadda yadda.
Maybe these are really questions for my Psychologist...
Q: Do I continue to buy Apple products and products recommended by Apple, because I trust(ed) them?
Q: Can anyone help me to find the right contact and number to call, to get some decent assistance?
Q: IS Loyalty still a thing these days?
Q: Should products last longer than warranty these days?
Q: Will my neighbours discover the truth??
Q: Does Apple provide grief counselling...?
