It seems to work in SAFE MODE but can't make it work when I boot up in NORMAL MODE.
I've never tried it myself, but I found this thread. If you want to try things out: first make a TimeMachine backup

yes it did. i was getting ready to sell my macbook pro because of airdrop not working. luckily i found this trick and it’s all good now. it feels like i got a brand new laptop now lol.

thanks for the quick reply. i’ve tried this already but the problem doesn’t seem to be going away. i’ve also tried to reinstall the OS 3-4 times already with no success.
Having the same issue. Tried OS reinstall, tried the reddit thread, tried changing IPV6 settings, no progress. Just wanted to say I'm in the same boat if anyone figures it out.
