Continuous flashing red light on AirPods after reset

So I just got AirPods today. First they connected just fine but after not using them for a few hours they disconnected. I reset them and it was fine until I noticed my left ear wasn’t working. I tried to fix the issue with other solutions but I got to the last one and it said reset your AirPods, so I tried to do just that. Now they’ve been blinking red nonstop and I can’t get them to flash white again.
