Does macOS Catalina support NVIDIA again? - MBP 2014 with GeForce GT 750M

Hi everyone, I still have my 2014 MBP retina that performed well until the Mojave update, I did some messing around to step backward to high-sierra in order to get the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M card again.. it improved, but never got back to what it was like pre-Mojave...

Does Catalina support this card now?

If not is it possible to replace this card, as a new laptop is not within my reach! :(

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.13

Hi summerofsam98,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with your MacBook Pro upgrade to Catalina. It sounds like you had an issue with your video card in the past when you updated to Mojave.

I can assure you that your 2014 MacBook Pro is fully compatible with both Mojave and Catalina: How to upgrade to macOS Catalina.

You can always keep a Time Machine backup and revert back if you find you'd rather use High Sierra: Back up your Mac with Time Machine.

If you do run into problems with your graphics and video, there are always troubleshooting steps to try.

Have a fantastic day!
