PS CS5 is a no go w/ Catalina?
Seems that Mojave 10.14.6 is the end of the road. Has anyone found a work around w/ the 32/64 bit issue?
Sad that Adobe and Apple no longer “speak” to each other.

a) Continue with Mojave.
b) Update to Catalina and boot into Mojave to run 32-bit software.
c) Update to Catalina and in it virtualize an older system like El Capitan or Snow Leopard Server to run 32-bit software.
d) Update to Catalina and update existing software to 64-bit or try to find a 64-bit alternative.

What do you mean by Adobe and Apple no longer speak? Of course they do. Adobe has updated all of its products to run on Catalina. What Adobe has NOT done is offer users of their older software free upgrades that work with Catalina. Your beef is with Adobe. You want to upgrade to your Adobe software to work with Catalina but you don't want to pay for the upgrade. Adobe is not offering you a free upgrade so there is your issue, not Apple or Catalina.
There is no "workaround". 32bit apps will not run in Catalina. As far as speaking to one another, the current versions of Adobe apps run in Catalina.
