When I click "Restore iPhone," I don't get a prompt to confirm that I want to restore the phone. In fact, nothing happens on the computer or phone. All I've been trying to do is reset my restrictions password and apple has made that a tedious and confusing task. I just wish it wasn't such a hassle to reset a passcode that isn't even very important security wise. Oh no, someone can change what content I can view on my phone. Why is it so hard to reset?

YOu put it in recovery mode as outlined in this link If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
This wouldn't be an issue if you remember your restriction password, it's not Apple's fault.
See, I would totally agree with you if I had set my restrictions password. I am not the one who forgot the password but I also wouldn't have said that if I had been the one to forget. Thank you for the response though, I'll see if it works.
This seemed to have worked, thank you. I am sorry for getting mad at Apple as I was previously angry and took it out on their design. I will refrain from letting my anger become redirected in the future and again, thank you for you help.
