cant see second ipad to forward texts to?
I have two ipads can they both have text message forwarding on? I can only see one of them on my iPhone and its not giving me a code when I switch this feature on

Yes, both iPads can have text messages forwarded to them. It works on my two iPads and on my Mac.
If your not getting the code, then something on the second iPad needs to be addressed. I would try signing out of iMessage on that iPad, restart the device and then sign in again.
It might not hurt to make sure everything is set up correctly otherwise, as well.
