how to backup if the ipad has no power

my ipad won't charge. I think the charging port is broken. It has no power. How can I fix it or at the very least, back it up?

You can’t back it up unless the device is powered up. Maybe something in here will help.

If your iPad won't charge - Apple Support

If nothing helps, you will have to take it to an Apple Store or an authorized service center for evaluation.

Hello,

Unfortunately if iPad will no longer turn on then there is no way to back it up. This is a good lesson as to why it is important to maintain a current backup.
