Itunes wuill not open. It is on an external drive. Path is correct. Why?

It opened yesterday,but not today. it is on an external drive. I updated the device driver, but it was up to date. Apple says to open Itunes, but that is not possible. Any Thoughts?

Windows, Windows 10
