Cannot shut iPad down

I have a small zoom window on screen on my new iPad and cannot get rid of it or shut the machine down. Slide to close will not work

Black box/camera tab won’t go away I have a little black box on my iPad screen that won’t go away. I can shrink it to a tab on the screen’s side but I can’t make it disappear completely. I tried the advice offered previously and checked the Accessibility setting’s Zoom function. It is already off. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
