I bought the macbook pro before the "free Airpods on Us" promo for 2020 on June 6, and I believe the promo began on the 15th, is there any way i can get the airpods or am I going to have to resort to return and repurchasing?

So I fixed the situation; I went to the Apple Store yesterday after making a call with a supervisor saying that I was allowed to “return” the laptop to get the promo because I was still within my 14 days of return I believe. What actually happened when I went to the store was that once I told them my issue, they were able to have me keep the laptop I had originally bought, and even gave me extra discounts because apparently getting the promo adds a better discount to the overall price, and Saved me almost a hundred dollars if it weren’t for me getting the 90 dollar AirPod pros. Hope this situation helps.
