Sim card not supported

Hi!

I got this iphone form my cousins in USA.

i have a problem that is making me so sad.

Please help me it says that sim card is not supported.

What should I do?

Please help me!

Hello,


Try these steps:


  1. Restore your iPhone to factory settings.
  2. Contact your carrier to make sure that they applied the unlock in their system.
  3. Restore your iPhone from a backup.

“SIM card not supported” means that the phone is locked to a carrier, and the SIM is not for that carrier. You will have to find out which carrier it is locked to, then contact them and ask what their unlocking policy is. There is no other way. You can try asking Apple which carrier it is locked to. Sometimes they can tell you. Use the Contact Support link at the top of this page. Or ask your cousin what carrier it is locked to.
