When will the iPhone 4 get flash support!!

You know this is really a killer for all iPhone models. Why? just why don't they have this for their hardware. I should be able to access every website via the web.

iPhone 4, iOS 4

This thread is unpractical or illogic.

Unless you have experienced flash on an iPhone, Android or other such mobile device to a certain extent I believe no one in this thread has any authority on how it all really works and if it works well or not...

So until its actually on the device your using you really have no idea what your talking about except to jump on the bandwagon on what you heard.

I for one would welcome the ability to use flash on a mobile device. If battery life is your concern then dont use flash then. Go to a site that supports HTML5.

It's fun to watch the fanboys practically explode with indignation when someone questions Jobs' decisions on... just about anything. Great entertainment.

No doubt. I love the way they triumphantly post about how Android devices have terrible battery life with Flash. Mine and the ones my friends have seem to be fine.

At any rate Apple fanboy's shouldn't get too happy here... lots can be said for their latest device and the antenna flaw it contains. 😉

Well, anyone doing a little research on the internet would know that Apple DOESN'T support Flash on either the IP or the iPad or the IT. As far as I know Apple supports Flash on their other products.

They do have a work around that allows access to youtube and now Hulu has an app called "Hulu Plus" that also has a work around (however, access costs $9.99 a month.)

And NO, you shouldn't have access to every website if the device maker (in this case Apple), says no.

Live with it.

forumalias,

So here you are in Apple's user to user technical discussion forum.

Can I ask?

Why are you here?

Matt

I suppose the truth hurts. 😉

I'm not really a fanboy of anything. I'll purchase and use whatever device I feel is the best at any point in time. Currently I own an Android-based phone that I've used for the last year. However, I'm quite taken by the iPhone 4 and anxiously waiting for the email to arrive telling me mine has arrived.

Anyway, I'm here out of boredom really. Hanging out to see what folks have to say about their phones. But when someone posts the tired old line about how Android-this or Android-that I like to jump in and set the record straight.

Each device, iPhone/Android, have their good points and their bad points. Like most things in life picking and using a phone/PDA is a personal decision and no device is any better than any other overall... just in certain areas.

Funny thing is I don't feel the need to join any Windows or Android or Linux discussion group just so I can set the record straight. What I find interesting is the compulsion that Apple critics have to butt into Apple centric discussion forums for the sole purpose of disruption and FUD (or setting the record straight as they call it). I have actually visited a few of the other discussion forums and I don't see the level of trolling by Apple fans that we see on Apple centric sites by Apple critics. Not even close.

So it makes me wonder just who is more obsessed with Apple, the so-called fanboys or the haters.
