How long does it take to replace 2015 MacBook battery?

i have a notification saying battery needs service; was told over phone battery needs to be replaced. How long does it take? Can they do same day or next day?

battery has a "service recommend" notice I bought a 2017 MacBook 12 in notebook from a business. they update every couple years for their employees. I knew ahead of time that the battery wasn't great, but the service recommended light came on after a couple of days of use. Does that mean I need a new battery? I watched a couple YouTube videos on how to replace them, but I'm having a hard time finding out what battery number I need to order. Is it worth it to replace it? or should I buy a whole new computer?

You should ask your local apple store or repair shop, but I think in less than a week they get the job done.
