The free Malwarebytes which may take care of it...

Or...

EtreCheck is a simple little app to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac. It will not display any personal info.

Pastebin is a good place to paste the whole report if you capture the URL while there…

https://pastebin.com/

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts..

  1. Go to your Google Chrome browser’s settings.
  2. Type chrome://settings/ in your Chrome type bar.
  3. Then click on the Extensions tab.
  4. Find the Search Marquis extension (as well as any other unfamiliar ones).
  5. Remove Search Marquis by clicking on the Remove icon next to its name.
  6. Confirm and get rid of Search Marquis and any other suspicious items.
  7. Now, click on the three-dotted line in your Chrome upper right corner.
  8. Click on Settings.
  9. Scroll down to the Search Engine part.
  10. Make sure that the Search engine used in the address bar is set to Google Chrome.
