iPhone X won’t rotate even with it unlocked. Help please

Which app are you using and rotating? Not all apps support the rotation function. The Home Screen of the iPhone X does not rotate to portrait mode unlike previous plus models.
I am assuming that you have rotation unlocked from the control center.
If you are using an app that is supposed to rotate to portrait mode and is not functioning (such as Messages, Safari) then-
1) Force Restart the phone:
- Press and quickly release Volume UP button
- Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
- Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
See if that helps resolve the issue.
