Hey Amerikanpekka,

I see that you're wanting to disable two-factor authentication.

You can find the answer to that question under "Can I turn off two-factor authentication after I’ve turned it on?" here: Two-factor authentication for Apple ID. It states that certain features do require this extra level of security, but if you've recently updated your account then you have two weeks to unenroll.

If you're attempting to update Final Cut Pro, but you're unable to do so because it requires a verification code that you're not receiving, check out some steps you can take under "What if I can't access a trusted device or didn't receive a verification code?" in that same resource above, here: Two-factor authentication for Apple ID.

If you're having trouble with something else let us know a few more details. For example, what is the wording of any error messages that you're receiving?

Have a great day.
