To have wireless charging capabilities, like iPhones, iPads need to incorporate electrical conducting, glass areas on the back panel for wireless, inductive battery charging.

No iPad has a back chassis that is made of glass.

The backs of iPads are made of an aluminium alloy.

So, wireless, inductive charging is NOT possible.
