I had bought my iPhone thru sprint but I moved away and left my iPhone at a friends house but I forgot my Apple ID but I think I remembered it and I entered it and it says it has a activation lock now so what do I need to do to unlock it

Im trying to unlock my iPhone 6s

Forgot my apple id i bought this phone from this guy and and he reset it and he had find my iPhone on and when I tried to quick start it it showed up activation lock .

Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support

if you forgot your appleID https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid

if you still can unlock it you will need apples assistance
